Challenge

Data-heavy trading platforms usually force users to learn an entirely new interface — friction, drop-off, and a jarring disconnect from the banking app they already trust.

Approach

The existing EquiBank design system was audited down to exact navigation placements and interaction behaviors, then mirrored 1:1 — identical tab bars, spacing, and component behavior. Complex market data and trading mechanics were translated into UI patterns users already knew, and entry and exit flows were designed so seamlessly that EquiTrade feels like a room inside the bank, not a separate building.

Outcome

A dedicated trading environment with genuinely zero learning curve — familiarity as the feature.
