NexusMeals

Managing daily meal orders from the wrist — no phone, no disruption.

NexusMeals

Insight

Contextual inquiry showed employees forgot lunch orders in meetings but felt pulling out a phone was rude — so cancellations were missed and food went to waste.

Approach

Ruthless reduction: menus, pricing, and filters from the parent app were stripped until only "today's lunch" and "tomorrow's lunch" remained. Bold, high-contrast type on a battery-saving dark background reads in a two-second glance, and cancellation is one tap — guarded against accidental touches on a wearable.

Outcome

Proof that great UX sometimes means deleting features: digital utility that fits physical office etiquette. Next, haptic reminders before the daily cancellation deadline.
