Challenge

Data-heavy trading platforms usually force users to learn an entirely new interface causing friction, drop-off, and a jarring disconnect from the banking app they already trust.

Approach

The existing EquiBank design system was audited down to exact navigation placements and interaction behaviors, then mirrored 1:1 component behavior. Complex market data and trading mechanics were translated into UI patterns users already knew, and entry and exit flows were designed so seamlessly that EquiTrade feels like an app inside the bank, not a separate app.

Outcome

A dedicated trading environment with genuinely zero learning curve (familiarity as the feature).
